Abstract

10.2 Summary in English for general dissemination purposes In line with its aims and following its strategy based on multidisciplinary, collaborative research, internationalization, strong ties with the region, excellence in scientific production, support to advanced training, and involvement in relevant actions for society, the Centre will perform a wide range of activities in 2018-2022. Related to ongoing project CREATOUR, the Centre will organize untill end 2019 IdeaLabs, i.e. intensive workshops on creative tourism with partner entities. Events in Accessible Tourism, Cultural Tourism& Marketing Strategies will occur every year, + round tables in “Innovation in Tourism” and “Communication & Distribution in Tourism”. Several international conferences are already scheduled, such as the TMS (14-17/11/2018, 2020, 2022), the 'Postgraduate Conf.' (6/6/2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), the 'II Int. Forum on Management' (16-17/2/2018), III Int. Conf. on Tourism & History (2018), the Int. Conf. on Marketing & Design (18-19/10/2018), the 3rd Int. Conf. on Creative Tourism Destination Development in Small Cities and Rural Areas (2019) and the Int. Conf. on Interdisciplinarity in Tourism& Related Fields (2019, 20120, 2021, 2022). CinTours will continue its ongoing national and int. research projects and apply for new calls.
