Abstract

Customer relationship management (CRM) systems are essential in many contexts to ensure that an adequate service can be provided to customers and also improved. While in many companies this is an essential aspect to sustain their economic growth, in the context of public administration these can play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the general public and organizations, which have a significant impact on the quality of life in modern societies. Since these systems handle multiple aspects of interactions, among a potentially high number of users, they tend to be complex and require a significant amount of expertise to operate correctly, which hinders their penetration somewhat. In this project we plan to combine knowledge from recent advances in security, self-management, and machine learning to make these systems more autonomous, easier to operate and ensure their correctness while at the same time improving the user experience by leveraging on automated interactions with the public and reclassification of interactions.
