Abstract

1. Strategic Goals for 2025-2029 •To deepen and extend the production of new knowledge in areas considered relevant and innovative in the field of problems and social inclusion to human wellbeing. •To disseminate and transfer research results, increasing the presence and of CLISSIS among scientific and professional communities and organizations, in an open science approach. •To stimulate and to deepen the connection with community, promoting forms of interinstitutional cooperation that contribute to the guidance of policies and actions. •To strength CLISSIS role in scientific training, through its connection the PhD on Social Work and the PhD on Applied Psychology-Health and Wellbing, and other advanced training activities, hosting, mentoring, and couching PhD and post-doctoral students. •To enlarge CLISSIS human resources through programs related to scientific employment, promoting career development namely for early researchers, attracting new researchers and the involving in new national and international scientific partnerships. •To increase CLISSIS financial resources for the supply of the tools, technical resources, support, and networks, that address member needs while creating an inclusive environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging. 2.Research activities CLISSIS develop research projects in the following thematic lines: Social Work history and Thought, Social Work training, Aging, Childhood and Youth, Extreme social vulnerability, Health and wellbeing, Social Policies and Citizenship, transferring their results in publications and events. 3.Internationalization At least 10 Specific missions will be supported to contact eventual partners for concrete proposals and CLISSIS will be involved in at least five projects in international consortiums. 5 new agreements will be celebrated. 4.Advanced training 2 editions PhD Program will be done. CLISSIS will host at least PHD 15 students framed in our thematic lines and will promote 10 doctoral classes. We’ll also host, at least, 5 post-doctoral students. 5.Scientific training, mentoring and couching CLISSIS will continue to promote its international congresses and thematic seminars - 8 events/per year and will promote 2 annual training courses on methodology or research thematics. Journals “Intervenção Social” and “Revista de Psicologia da Criança e do Adolescente” will be published each semester. CLISSIS collection (see 5.4.) will published at least 2 books/year 6.Ressearchers careers and early career CLISSIS expects to hire 1 full-time researcher through the FCT -Tenure Program and 2 full-time early career researcher and will launch 2 PhD scholarships, and 3 Masters’ scholarships and will be available to host 5 PhD scholarships holders from FCT programs. 7.Citizen science and actions to society CLISSIS will increase its connections to professionals of social responses and social policies, and to transfer its scientific results through events, journals and CLISSIS Collection.
