Abstract
The CIR has the following objective for 2025-2029: 1) to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in rehabilitation sciences through rigorous and innovative research; 2) to achieve excellence in research by conducting high-quality studies, publishing in reputable journals, and presenting findings at national and international conferences; 3) foster interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers within the unit and with external partners to tackle complex research questions and address real-world challenges; 4) provide opportunities for the training and professional development of researchers, including graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the field; 5) generate research outputs that have a positive impact on society, including contributing to policy development, improving clinical practice, and enhancing quality of life.
