Abstract

Energy systems are undergoing a transformation from centralized to decentralized structures. SMART aims to test the technical and economic feasibility of a Renewable Energy Community (REC), allowing the inclusion of innovative technologies with results that can be reflected in legal and regulatory development proposals for the new decentralized markets. It includes research and demonstration, promoting innovation in the energy sector.
